If you had told me a year ago that I would see my debut album show up on charts and websites alongside my idols, I'd laugh in your face; it's such a surreal sight. I'm not expecting this EP to get nearly as much attention or support as Permutations, and I'm completely fine with that.

Some of these tracks were made late at night, some early in the morning. They were recorded quickly and through analogue means, primarily me manipulating and destroying samples vaporwave-style with my Roland SP-404. Considering how meticulous and drawn out the recording of Permutations was, it felt odd, almost wrong to step back and move on from any given track so quickly, but the last thing I wanted was to overdo it this time around.
There was very little catharsis in the moment, but I did find myself more at ease after having completed these tracks. I played them on repeat whilst wallowing throughout the day or internalising past events; it almost became a form of meditation for me.

I see this as an epilogue of the Permutations era, maybe a bookmark for my future self to look back on or scoff at. A collection of tracks for ruminating, wallowing and meditating.
